Stereotypes Against Caucasians
People may not believe it, but other ethnic groups are racist towards whites. In many comedy skits whites are portrayed as extremely nerdy, tense, rich, vapid, and unstylish suburbanites. Some typical stereotypes against younger white people are that they are huge fans of heavy metal, rock, or country music. For older whites they are fans of big bands or operas. Stereotypes are also found in sports by saying that white players are soft. Most common stereotypes are that whites are only good athletes because of their hardwork, discipline and knowledge of game. The stereotypes of white athletes benefit them in the real world because employers look for applicants that are hard working and disciplined (Gane-McCalla).
